Chickpeas make a great tuna-inspired sandwich filling. The dill, nori, capers, lemon juice, mustard, and tahini add to that typical flavor. The „tuna“ mixture is also delicious in wraps!
This is such a quick and easy recipe for vegan tuna salad. Just add all the ingredients into a food processor, pulse, and done!
The base for this vegan tuna is chickpeas. I am also adding canned artichoke hearts for the texture. For the typical fishy flavor, I am adding nori, dill, and capers. I love how easy it is to create vegan ‘fish’ dishes once you know how you can achieve those flavors!
While this vegan chickpea tuna is perfect for sandwiches, this is by no means the only way to eat it. You can serve it on a big salad, in wraps, on a bagel, even as a spread for crackers.
