Sesame Milk – made with tahini. Just 3 ingredients and only takes a minute to make. All you need is a blender. It’s the perfect milk for all tahini-lovers!
For the last couple of months, I have been obsessed with tahini. I’ve gone through so many jars! It’s crazy. I’ve been drizzling tahini on top of my morning overnight oats, nice cream, even added it into milkshakes.
It just adds such a lovely slightly bitter-sweet taste. It’s really hard to get off this stuff once you’re hooked. I’m telling you.
So obviously, a Sesame Milk recipe made with tahini had to happen.
What I love about this sesame milk is, that
- it’s super inexpensive,
- super quick (1 minute!),
- no straining! (because we’re using only water, tahini, and maple syrup).

Hi, can you do sesame milk without using maple syrup?

This recipe is too watery for my taste, so I used 2 tablespoons of tahini and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to 450 mL of water, it makes about half a litre of sesame milk. I put it in a glass bottle and shake it well before use. A positive thing is that it’s quick and easy to make.

Is this meant to say teaspoons of tahini rather than tablespoons? I tried with teaspoons and it was very watery. Put in quite a bit more and improved it so wondered if the metrics are off here
