Vegan Pizza Pinwheels with olives

Is it even a party without pizza pinwheels?! I don’t think so! These vegan Pizza Pinwheels with olives are super easy & quick to make and the perfect crowd-pleasing snack.

Vegan Pizza Pinwheels with olives

I think I’ve made these vegan Pizza Pinwheels for every party and potluck ever. They are a real crowd-pleaser, super easy to make, done in 30 minutes, versatile (you can add all kinds of fillings!) and SO GOOD.

This version is made with vegan puff pastry, tomato sauce, vegan cheese shreds, and olives. The olives add a nice saltiness but you can also omit them if you’re not into olives.

You can fill them with really anything you want – but make sure the filling pieces are not too big because otherwise, you won’t be able to roll in the puff pastry really tight.

I’ve made already versions with blanched spinach, vegan sausage pieces, TVP crumbles, with sun-dried tomatoes, with vegan cashew parmesan instead of the vegan cheese shreds… they are really versatile, which makes them such a great snack and party food.

I tried these twice - once with puff pastry, once with pizza dough. The flavour is delicious but they came out tiny and it looks like the dough did not rise as it was supposed. Did I do something wrong?
