Refreshing vegan Pomegranate Gin Fizz made with fresh Pomegranate Seeds. It’s the perfect summer drink! You can easily make a non-alcoholic, kid-friendly version.
Are you ready for the weekend? For me summer (and late summer) and cocktails simply belong together. And what’s better than cocktails made with fresh fruits? I’ve blended up pomegranate seeds as base for this Pomegranate Gin Fizz. You can easily make a virgin-version or kid-friendly version by leaving out the gin – it’s delicious either way.
Looking for more vegan drink & food ideas for vegan parties? I love having get-together with friends and surprising them with fancy cocktails and delicious meals and snacks. It’s my way of promoting veganism without the preachy part :) There’s nothing more satisfying than them leaving my home drunk and a tummy full of delicious vegan food.
It’s the ideal drink for date night and Valentine’s Day, too!
Pomegranate Gin Fizz
- 1 pomegranate
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 cup soda water
- 2 ounces gin (less or more to your preferred alcohol level)
- ice cubes
- Deseed the Pomegranate and blend the pomegranate seeds in a blender - pour the juice through a thin strainer or nutmilk bag to get rid of the hard pieces.
- Divide the pomegranate juice in two glasses, add half a teaspoon of fresh lime juice, 1 ounce of gin and 1/2 a cup of soda water per glass.
- Add ice cubes and give it a good mix before serving.
