No refined sugar, no dairy, 3 ingredients only for this Frozen Green Smoothie! You’ll love this summer version of a green smoothie!
Green Smoothie goes summer! I tell you, you’ll love this frozen treat on hot days. With only 3 ingredients, it’s the perfect no-fuss shake. Simply toss all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth. No refined sugar, no dairy, no bullshit.
I’m not a typical smoothie gal – but frozen smoothies are AWESOME! Just use frozen bananas instead of regular ones and you’ll end up with the creamiest, frothiest smoothies/shakes ever. I can totally see this Frozen Green Smoothie being perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.. a bit fresh mint and chocolate chips and there we go :)
And in the future, I’ll be using my beloved Omniblend much more because we’re moving (we are actually starting moving today!) and we won’t be having ANY neighbors, so I can make me some smoothies, nice cream and nice cream shakes at midnight, 4 am, in the morning whenever. So looking forward to the new place!
Frozen Green Smoothie
Equipment
Ingredients
- 4 bananas , frozen & in chunks
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 handful spinach
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth (took me 1 1/2 minutes). You probably have to use your tamper wand to push the bananas down into the blades.

I want this for breakfast every day please! This kinda smoothie is a staple for me, I refuse to make non-frozen smoothies anymore. Especially in the summer, that thick almost spoon-worthy texture is so delicious! I love the drip shot, it's perfect :)

Thanks, Natalie! I feel the same! I don't care for smoothies too much, but frozen smoothies are a completely different story. If it only takes frozen bananas to get my nutrients in, then that's okay with me :)

Yay! I love no-fuss, ultra thick smoothies like this one :) Congrats on the move! By the way - hows the Omniblend working for you? I need to upgrade my blender and I'm considering it.

Thanks Lucie! I'm totally happy with my omniblend. Nice Cream, Nut Milk, Peanut Butter, Cashew Cheese, ... are all no problem for the omniblend. I have the 1 1/2 liter container and apparently the 2 liter container is better for making smaller batches (cashew cheese or peanut butter for example) because it's more narrow at the bottom. You might want to check it out, if you decide to go for the omniblend. I'll send you a FB pm shortly :P

Same here! While I'm glad we still have a few hot & sunny days left before autumn kicks in, but I almost died today because of the heat :D
