Vegan Tzatziki

Tzatziki is a yogurt-based sauce, which originates in Greece. The grated cucumber and dill add a lovely lightness to the sauce. It’s a delicious dipping sauce for grilled veggies and all kinds of plant-based meat e.g. gyros!

 

Unsweetened soy yogurt

Cucumber

Fresh dill

Garlic clove

Salt

Ingredients needed:

Olive oil

Grate the cucumber

Cut the cucumber into matchsticks using a mandoline slicer with a julienne plate. Put it on a paper towel and press out excess liquid.

Grate the garlic

Grating the garlic works best with a garlic grater plate.

Add all the ingredients

Combine the yogurt with the cucumber, salt, dill, and garlic.

Give it a good mix

Put the tzatziki in the fridge for 2-3 hours so the flavors can develop.
