These Candied Almonds (Cinnamon Sugar Coated Almonds) are super easy to make. They will get you into the Christmas spirit in no time and they are the perfect little homemade gift for your friends, colleagues, and family!
In a large non-stick pan, heat the water, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Keep the heat on high, add in the almonds, and keep stirring.
The mixture will get thicker with time. Stir, stir, stir, until all the water is gone and the sugar sticks to the almonds (This process takes about 10-15 minutes).
Reduce the heat once the sugar sticks to the almonds, but keep stirring until the sugar melts again and the almonds get shiny.
Then pour the almonds onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper to let them cool off. Careful, they are very, very hot. Once they've cooled down, you can enjoy them!
