Oven-Baked Plantain Chips with a Cilantro Lemon Dip

Recipe for oven-baked Plantain Chips, served with a Cilantro Lemon Dip. The plantain chips are lightly salted and make such a yummy snack! Naturally vegan & gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe plantain*
  • 1 drizzle coconut oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • To serve: Cilantro Lemon Sunflower Seed Dip

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C.
  • Peel the plantain and cut it in thin slices.
  • Place the slices on a baking sheet, drizzle with coconut oil and salt and mix until coated evenly. Lay them flat on the baking sheet and put them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. They should be brown and crispy on the sides.
  • Serve, for example, with a homemade Cilantro Lemon Sunflower Seed Dip!

Notes

*A ripe plantain has already got some black spots on the skin.
