I’ve been making these little 2-ingredient German Marzipan Balls for many years now and I still love them. They are so easy, yet sooo delicious! And to show how easy they are to make, I’ve even made a little video. It’s my first recipe video, so I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think! I’m trying to make more videos in the future, but I have to start somewhere.

To be honest, I didn’t even want to write a recipe post for these, because these vegan & gluten-free German Marzipan Balls are so easy to make… but that should never be an excuse, right? What’s wrong with “too easy” recipes? They make life easier! And these cute little no-bake balls are perfect to add to cookie platters. Not every cookie has to be a lot of work!

Thank you, Audrey, I really appreciate it! I didn't feel like baking many different Christmas cookies this year so these no-bake versions were perfect for me :D

3 tablespoons of marzipan to make 22 cookies? Am I reading this right?

Bianca

Hi Lois, it was about 3 tablespoons (US measurements) of marzipan (you can see the amount of marzipan in the video). 100g.. if you have a kitchen scale. Of course it depends on how big you want to make the Marzipan Balls.. I prefer smaller ones so I was left with 22 Marzipan Balls.

Hi Bianca, Doesn’t marzipan include eggs or egg whites usually? I would love to make the vegan version of these.

Apparently it's really difficult to get some marzipan in the US. To my knowledge, marzipan should be gluten-free as it is. So very weird! I've been planning on doing a post about homemade marzipan because it's so hard to get it on some parts of the world. Marzipan is great for christmas baking :)
